Establish Your Own Legacy of Caring
When R.B. Price II established the Boone County Community of Trust, he did so out of a desire to give back to the community that gave him so much. In doing so, he cemented his legacy of care and selfless giving. It’s a legacy that has lived on these 50-plus years later.
What lies before us is the next 50 years of giving. If you see the need, if you have a desire to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of your friends, neighbors and fellow Boone County residents, we hope you’ll consider making a gift to our Trust. We’re committed to keeping with the spirit of every gift we receive — to ensure that your wishes for a prosperous community can be carried on for years to come. This is why we primarily focus on capital projects, as they impact the future of an organization; and it’s why our application process is set up to allow for a variety of nonprofits from across the Boone County area.
A Strong Foundation
When you donate to the Trust, your contribution will become a part of our current resource of funds—ensuring that your generosity will become an investment that will last for decades to come. Every dollar we’re given is a dollar that we can grow and give back to the community. And with our all-volunteer board, low administrative costs (approximately 1%) and no real overhead, we’re able to maximize every dollar to the benefit of the community.
In addition to donations of cash or stock, we can help you include Trust donations in your estate planning. Gifting as part of an estate plan would be a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). QCDs are also a tax-efficient way to give during your lifetime from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) for those aged 70½ and above.
